Please choose from one of the following to help answer any questions you may have concerning our chat program. Registration

Chat Room Registration form If you look at the Login form below, you can see the text link to "Create a new user account". By clicking that link, you will open a new browser window and see the registration form. You can self-register for our chat room system by filling in the form. Please choose your own username and password. We will be unable to retrieve your password should you lose it.

Your email will need to be a valid one. While there is no account validation email sent, if you need to have your password retrieved by the system (Lost Password link), your password will be sent to the email address you provide.

Your real name would be very much appreciated. It helps us with our internal records, and if we ever need to contact you, we don't want to call you "hey you" *grins*.

The information you provide will never be shared with other users. Neither will it be sold, rented, or shared with other organizations or entities (except for law enforcement should they request it.)

Links are not clickable

In order to register or retrieve a lost password, be sure to have your "popup blocker" turned off
(either in the browser and/or your security/firewall program)as both forms open in a new window. Otherwise:

This problem only seems to happen for some in Internet Explorer (IE), but does not seem to be an issue in Firefox.

Chat Room Login form
Logging into the chat system is very easy. Just type in your username and password, and click the LOGIN button. Unless you have a private reading arranged with one of our Readers, you will typically go directly to the General Chat room.

Otherwise, use the drop down menu to choose the appropriate room you visit. If you prompted to enter a password for the General Chat room, this means we are not open yet.

You can choose a color for your font (text).
You can choose to bold your font (text).
You can choose to italize your font (text).
You can choose to underline your font (text).
Choose your smilie / emoticon. See below for the full list.
You can zoom in to make all of the chat conversation text bigger.
You can zoom out to make all of the chat conversation text smaller.
Clears the chat window of all text.
Turns on and off the timestamp feature.
Turns on and off audio.
You can "float" the chat room off of the page and maximize the new window. Clicking again re-docks the chat room back onto the page.
Click the question mark to come to this help page.
Log out of the chat system.

Smilies / Emoticons

Below is the list of smilies (or emoticons) that we currently have available for use in our chat room system. You can either press the smilie button in your control panel (see above) and choose the smilie you wish to use or you can use the keyboard "triggers".
