Reader Mystic Aura
I was just reading two very good books and the last one seemed to have messages for me in it. It was called ONENESS. It was a little wordy but at the end it the spirit that channeled it said we don't have to give up prosperity to be having this experience. And it resonated with me. And it spoke of us all having more spirit gifts in the future. And I felt to open up to those gifts from spirit. And tonight HAR Mystic Aura gave me the greatest affirmation on this happening for me and it was just as I had felt it to be. It was a great read. Happy Spring to Everyone!! I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and Passover this month. I hope the beginning of Spring 2009 has brought you much sunshine and joy. I would like to put out a little reminder that April hosts some other very important observances ... Earth Day on April 22nd, Cancer Control Month, and Alcohol Awareness Month.
The Heaven's Angels Spiritual Readings School of Metaphysics has gotten off to a nice start. We're repeating our original classes, by popular Demand. Both "Connecting with Your Angels" and "Opening Your Psychic Awareness" repeat beginning on Saturday, April 4th, and "Oils, Incense & Brews" repeats beginning on Sunday, April 19th. If you're wanting to sign up for any of these classes, there's still time. And if you miss this round, we'll be offering the classes again later in the year. We're also working on new classes which will be offered soon.
We had some great shows on our Blog TalkRadio program in March. We had two wonderful special guests... On March 1st, we had Leesa Hagen with us. Leesa was invited back after we received many requests to do Feng Shui to Go: Part 2. On March 29th, we hosted an Interview with Psychic-Medium Sherrie Dillard. Sherrie talked to us about her book, Discovering Your Psychic Type , as well as talking about how "you" can discover and develop your own gifts. You can catch both of Leesa's shows, as well as Sherrie's interview, in the archive section on our Blog TalkRadio site or on HAR's Blog TalkRadio onsite landing page (click the HAR Talk Radio link on any page of our site.) We had some other wonderful shows in March as well ... A Basic Introduction to Gemstones, History of Candles, and An Introduction to Healing with Color. Coming up on HAR Radio for April ... Meet HAR: HAR Joni on April 5th HAR Joni came back to us a couple months ago, after completing most of her schooling, and so we thought it would be nice to introduce, or re-introduce everyone to her. Round Table On Spirituality on April 19th In this segment, HAH Laura and HAH Justin join our HAR Hosts for a discussion on Spirituality. Laura and Justin will be asking us some of the most commonly asked questions, as well as questions that are near to their hearts. They'll also participate in a round table on the topic of spirituality. Herbs Can Heal, presented by HAR Rae on April 26th Rae will discuss some of the basic and most common herbs, telling us how they can heal as well as enhance our lives. This presentation mirrors the upcoming class of the same name. On April 12th, HAR TalkRadio won't be aired due to the Easter holiday. Well, that's about all from HAR this month. What It Is Used For
Historically, Native Americans have used goldenseal for various health conditions such as skin diseases, ulcers, and gonorrhea.
Now, goldenseal is used for colds and other respiratory tract infections, infectious diarrhea, eye infections, and vaginitis (inflammation or infection of the vagina). It is occasionally used to treat cancer.
It is also applied to wounds and canker sores, and is used as a mouthwash for sore gums, mouth, and throat.
How It Is Used
The underground stems or roots of goldenseal are dried and used to make teas, liquid extracts, and solid extracts that may be made into tablets and capsules.
Goldenseal is often combined with echinacea in preparations that are intended to be used for colds.
What the Science Says
Few studies have been published on goldenseal's safety and effectiveness, and there is little scientific evidence to support using it for any health problem.
Clinical studies on a compound found in goldenseal, berberine, suggest that the compound may be beneficial for certain infections—such as those that cause some types of diarrhea, as well as some eye infections. However, goldenseal preparations contain only a small amount of berberine, so it is difficult to extend the evidence about the effectiveness of berberine to goldenseal.
NCCAM is funding research on berberine, including a study to understand the mechanism by which it may act against tumors.
Side Effects and Cautions
Goldenseal is considered safe for short-term use in adults at recommended dosages. Rare side effects may include nausea and vomiting.
There is little information about the safety of high dosages or the long-term use of goldenseal.
Although drug interactions have not been reported, goldenseal may cause changes in the way the body processes drugs, and could potentially increase the levels of many drugs. However, a study of goldenseal and indinavir, a drug used to treat HIV infection, found no interaction.
Other herbs containing berberine, including Chinese goldthread (Coptis trifolia) and Oregon grape (Mahonia aquifolium), are sometimes substituted for goldenseal. These herbs may have different effects, side effects, and drug interactions than goldenseal.
Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid using goldenseal. The berberine in the herb may cause the uterus to contract, increasing the risk of premature labor or miscarriage. Berberine may also be transferred through breast milk, causing life-threatening liver problems in nursing infants.
Goldenseal should not be given to infants and young children.
Tell your health care providers about any complementary and alternative practices you use. Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

I have been in love with a man for 2 years now and due to my depression not wanting to hurt him more with how bad things were I walked away but now I have realized how much i love him and how much he means to me..So I was wanting to know will our love me strong enough to get through this and reconnect or should I just move on? I am trying to put my life back on track in all aspects and this is one I need to know what direction to move in.. If you could please help me in some form I would appriciate it
Hey well what I got first was that this is a time to see if he is there for good as well as bad. However she should know this answer now in his trying to stay with her and find out what went wrong. If he hasn't then that is the answer to her question and one doesn't need one who isn't there for bad as well as good. I am told though spiritually that her bad isn't that bad. Meaning she is to follow her gut instinct and I'm also told that even if he doesn't come or stay in her life she is on her road to her own self healing and her own
paving of her future which she should congratulate herself for. That is a wonderful step which I'm told she already mentally has seen for herself. She has already planned how and when to get her life on right path. This is encouraging because it shows her independence and the fact that she has a lot to learn even now with what love truly is. This is good in a way because it will allow her to take care of her first and then the right man will show one who is much stronger and much maturer. So, to answer the question tell her to listen to her own gut and to continue going forth on her own. Wish her best.

| Easter, as with most "Christian" holidays, Easter has been secularized and commercialized. The nature of Easter and its symbols, however, are not necessarily a modern concept. Since its conception as a holy celebration in the second century, Easter has had its non-religious side. In fact, Easter was originally a pagan festival. The ancient Saxons celebrated the return of spring with an uproarious festival commemorating their goddess of offspring and of springtime, Eastre. When the second-century Christian missionaries encountered the tribes of the north with their pagan celebrations, they attempted to convert them to Christianity. They did so, however, in a clandestine manner. It would have been suicide for the very early Christian converts to celebrate their holy days with observances that did not coincide with celebrations that already existed. The missionaries decided to spread their religious message slowly throughout the populations by allowing them to continue to celebrate pagan feasts, but to do so in a Christian manner. As it happened, the pagan festival of Eastre occurred at the same time of year as the Christian observance of the Resurrection of Christ. It made sense, therefore, to alter the festival itself, to make it a Christian celebration as converts were slowly won over. The early name, Eastre, was eventually changed to its modern spelling, Easter Prior to A.D. 325, Easter was variously celebrated on different days of the week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In that year, the Council of Nicaea was convened by emperor Constantine. It issued the Easter Rule which states that Easter shall be celebrated on the first Sunday that occurs after the first full moon on or after the vernal equinox. The Easter Egg predates the Christian holiday of Easter. The exchange of eggs in the springtime is a custom that was centuries old when Easter was first celebrated by Christians. From the earliest times, the egg was a symbol of rebirth in most cultures. Eggs were often wrapped in gold leaf or, if you were a peasant, colored brightly by boiling them with the leaves or petals of certain flowers. |
Laws of the Universe
28. The Law of Fixation. One of the seven laws of our solar system, under the three major laws, and governs the time of an individual's rebirth. This is the governing law on the mental plane, finding its greater correspondence in the Law of Karma on cosmic mental levels, and has a close connection with manas, the fifth principle. 'As a man thinks, so is he,' according to his thoughts are his desires and acts, and so results the future. The mind controls and stabilizes, and coherency is the result.
29. The Law of Flexibility. This law involves a pragmatic acceptance of the present moment. We accept ourselves, others and current circumstances rather than a rigid resistance of the moment. It requires an alert and expansive state of awareness, and embracing and making constructive use of the moment. Stumbling blocks become stepping stones and problems become opportunities. Everything serves our highest good if we make good use of it. The serenity prayer used by Alcoholics Anonymous and other twelve step programs reflects this law. "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." This prayer was drawn from Buddha's writings.
30. The Law of Forgiveness. This law works with the energy of allowing ness, and seeing all as love, so one may dispense with the unnatural feeling of getting even. The old energy of an eye for an eye keeps the vibrations of a person very low. To forgive, to release old anger, allows the law of grace to intercede and dispense with amounts of karma an individual has stored in his or her akasha. Non-violence is the natural outgrowth of the law of forgiveness and love. All good comes from forgiveness. It is a truth that the continuation of the human species is due to man's being forgiving. Forgiveness is holiness. By forgiveness the universe is held together. Forgiveness is the might of the mighty; forgiveness is quiet of mind. Forgiveness and gentleness are the qualities of the self-possessed, and represent eternal virtue.

Diamond
Diamond is the April birthstone. Known as one of the hardest substances on earth, diamonds are thought to be billions of years old
There are several legends and folklore that surround the diamond. The ancients believed they were splinters from the stars, perhaps crystallized lightening or hardened dew drops. In Ancient Greece many warriors wore diamonds on their shields with the belief that the stones could grant them invincibility. In Medieval time when I diamond was set in its original form as a ring many associated this with what they called "The Glass Cutter Ring". The diamond symbolized purity, innocence and joy of faith. In present day the diamond is looked at as symbol of love. Ever since the Archduke Maximilian of Austria gave a diamond engagement ring to Mary of Burgundy, daughter of the Duke of Burgundy in 1477, the diamond became the choice for engagement rings.
