Notes from Linda
Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I did. I shared it with family and friends. And my wish for all of you for December is that you have a beautiful holiday season and wonderful New Year.
There are many things happening with HAR at the moment, as we prepare for the holiday season and the coming of the New Year.
First of all, I want to welcome to our family a wonderful new Reader, HAR Amethyst. Amethyst came to us when she was surfing the Internet and came across our website. She is a very well known Internet Reader, having read for many years for Angels Play and had her own business, although she had been retired for a few years. She has 20 years of experience and when she came across our site, her Guides told her that she needed to come out of retirement to join us. I am so happy that she listened to her Guides.
I would also like to welcome to our family two new Hosts, HAH Denise and HAH Lisa. Both Denise and Lisa were guests to our reading rooms and decided that they needed to be a part of our family. Denise is a well-seasoned Host from another group from years ago, and Lisa a guest who had hosting in her blood. They are both awesome and I'd like you all to welcome them with open arms.
New to the HAR family are also HAH Justin, who is a very brite and up coming host. Also HAHRilla has come on board after doing our radio show. We welcome both to the family
I would now like to ask all of you to keep in your prayers our lovely Host, HAH Jeannie, who underwent an operation early in the month of November. We miss her dearly and hope that her recovery is coming along well, and we hope that she'll be with us again very soon.
I'd like to mention a couple of promotions within HAR ... I would like to congratulate HAR Deborah Rose, who has consented to take on the job as Manager of TLP (The Lighted Path Investigations), and HAR Tim, who has taken on the task of Reader & Host Manager. Congratulations to you both!!!
New things happening with HAR ... early in the month of November, we launched The Lighted Path Investigations. It's a project that's been dear to my heart, the heart of TLP's Manager, Deborah Rose, and all of our HAR Staff for many years. The Lighted Path consists of both HAR Readers and HAR Affiliate Readers who volunteer their time to help law enforcement and other agencies with solving cases that range from missing or kidnapped persons (children and adults), homicides, and unsolved or cold cases among other things. If you or someone you know needs our help, please feel check out our website at www.thelightedpathinvestigations.org, as well as have your local authorities contact us.
Coming soon to TLP is an online contact/statistics form, which will be much easier to use than the one we are currently e-mailing to law enforcement and other agencies concerning their cases.
For those who are gifted, we are looking for good, dedicated Readers to join our The Lighted Path Investigations staff. If you're interested in joining our team and helping out your community and communities around the world, please fill out a Volunteer application on TLP's website. Thank you.
We're working on a new section for our website that will be dedicated strictly to Angels. We think that'll be a wonderful and fitting addition to our site since our company name is Heaven's Angels Spiritual Readings and founded on our belief in angels. We'll have angel pictures, videos, prayers and poems, stories, validations, among other things. We're even hoping to have an Angel Validation Book where you can share your experiences with your angels. If you have anything you would like to share with us in this section, please send it to me at HARLinda@heavensangelsreadings.com, and I'll make sure out webmaster gets it. Our greatest hope is that we have this section of the site up and running sometime in December. We'll be adding to it as we receive things.
Last month I mentioned both the Angel and Paranormal sections. Currently, our TLP site has a section where you can send us things relating to the paranormal. We hope to, in the future, have a section dedicated to this exclusively. We'll let you know as things develop.
By popular demand, and plans that have been in the works for close to two years, we are finally beginning our online classes and workshops. Target date for our first class ...January 10, 2009. We're very excited about this!! Currently we have lined up: Opening Your Psychic Awareness I: a class for beginner Light-workers, Connecting with your Angels I: The Basic Course, Working & Healing with Crystals, Beginner: Oils, Incense & Brews. Forthcoming, among other classes, Becoming Spiritually & Psychically Fit, Chakra Work, Connecting with your Angels II: Advanced, Opening Your Psychic Awareness II: Advanced, Advanced: Oils, Incense & Brews. Look for these and other classes and workshops to be added regularly. We're hoping to have all the class information and registration up on our site within the next week or two, if not sooner. If there's anything you'd like us to teach, please drop me an e-mail with your suggestions at HARLinda@heavensangelsreadings.com.
Look for some specials coming up in this new year on some of our most popular readings. Who knows, there may even be a 24 hour marathon and a slashed reading special in the works. ;) We'll keep you posted.

What It Is Used For
Mistletoe has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat seizures, headaches, and other conditions. Mistletoe is used mainly in Europe as a treatment for cancer.
How It Is Used
The leafy shoots and berries of mistletoe are used to make extracts that can be taken by mouth. In Europe, mistletoe extracts are prescription drugs that are given by injection. In the United States, mistletoe by injection is available only in clinical trials.
What the Science Says
Laboratory studies have found that mistletoe kills cancer cells and stimulates the immune system. The use of mistletoe to treat cancer has been studied in Europe in more than 30 clinical trials. Although improvements in survival or quality of life have been reported, almost all of the trials had major weaknesses in their design that raise doubts
about the findings. For example, many of the studies had a small number of participants or did not have a control group. NCCAM is sponsoring a clinical trial of mistletoe,
given in combination with the drug gemcitabine, for cancer. The study will look at toxicity, safety, and immune system effects of mistletoe extract when combined with this chemotherapy drug.
Side Effects and Cautions
Raw, unprocessed mistletoe is poisonous. Eating raw, unprocessed European mistletoe or American mistletoe can cause vomiting, seizures, a slowing of the heart rate, and even death. American mistletoe is unsafe for medicinal use. In countries where commercial mistletoe is available by injection, such as Germany, those extracts are
considered to be generally safe when used according to product directions and under the
supervision of a health care provider. Injected mistletoe extract may cause itching or
redness in the area of the injection. Less commonly, side effects may include more extensive skin reactions, low-grade fevers, or flu-like symptoms.
There have been very rare reports of more serious allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing. Because mistletoe has not yet been proven to be a safe and effective cancer treatment, it should not be used outside of clinical trials. \
Tell your health care providers about any complementary and alternative practices you use.
Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

I have always held out hoping I would move south, but it appears I will not, but now I am at the age I'd like to own house, I own trailer in a trailer park, Do You see me owning a House anytime soon?

Star of Bethlehem
Each year around this time a debete arises among those to view the skys from scientific point of view. They are still trying to come up with an explaination of what the Star of Bethlehem really was.
At least four theories have been advanced to explain the Star from a purely astronomical viewpoint
That it was a fireball metor, a comet, an exploding star or a planet.
Astronomy can tell us that all these planetary conjunctions indeed occurred. The Story of Christmas Angels
'Angels' in Greek mean 'Messengers'. In Bible, heavenly angels are mentioned as messengers of god. Christmas angels are perhaps the most popular form of angels that are used in our celebrations. Angels are believed to be immortal, who live in Heaven, and act as intermediaries between God and Humankind. Traditionally, pictures and poems on angels portray them having human bodies with wings sprouting from their backs. 'Wings' are said to symbolize Innocence, Virtue, Purity, Peace and Love, which place them above Humans though they are still under God. It was the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament of Christianity, which first mentions that angels had a human body and angel wings and could fly.
According to the New Testament, when people are sorry for their sins, angels rejoice. In Bible, nine ranks of angels are mentioned with Seraphim and Cherubim angels on top. Angels are headed by a chief angel known as an Archangel whose name is Saint Michael. We all have our guardian angels or angel guardians who protect us, look after us and comfort us in times of distress. It was in 1100 to 1200 AD when Christian doctrine about angels evolved rapidly, as in the teachings of Saint Thomas Aquinas. Saint Thomas believed that angels fill the gap between God and mankind; they are countless and immortal. According to Saint Thomas, angels have perfect knowledge except things that can depend on human choice and things that only God knows.
They were quite instrumental in birth of Jesus Christ and hence, play an important role in Christmas celebration and festivities. Angels were the ones that brought us the news of the birth of the Christ child. Gabriel, the heavenly Christmas angel brought the divine news to Mary and revealed that she was chosen to bear God's son. Another angel informed Joseph that he should marry Mary and look after the Christ. According to a legend, God appointed a small group of tiny angels, who were just learning their angel ways, to watch over Joseph and Mary on their journey to Bethlehem. Tiny angels did all they could and tried to do their best but could not help the couple to find shelter in the inn in the over-crowded town. Finally, they had to make do with the inn's stable.
They were so excited that they were to witness the birth of God's Only Son that flew closer to earth and sang sweetly. The fastest among them caught sight of the newborn child from stable's roof and instantly understood their mission was to herald the birth. They were so filled with joy and mirth that they burst into a glorious thanksgiving song that reached the heavens and was so melodious that it could be heard all over the Earth. A Christmas angel appeared to the shepherds near Bethlehem about the Christ Child's birth too. We still see Christmas angels singing and playing music in Nativity scenes who look so cute and benevolent that they catch young one's attention and fascination instantly

From the Editor
As 2008 comes to a close, we are welcoming HAR Ameythyst, HAH MysticalBlue / Denise, HAH Sunshine / Lisa , HAH Sun Quan / Justin and HAH Rilla to our HAR family. We aks for prayers for our sister Jeannie, who under went surgery in November and has yet to return to us. We all think very highly of her and send glow and prayers to her. On December 21st, we will all be in celebration of our Sister Rae and Daniel's Wedding Day. My the Angels smile on them and bestow many blessings.
HAR continues to grow at a rapid pace, bringing you new features, ECards, Gifts by HAR, The Lighted Path and very soon education in the form of workshops and seminars. I am thrilled to see the new courses being subitted for our 2009 term. 2009 looks to be a very stimluating year for all of us here at HAR. You never know what new and wonderous plans are yet to be hatched for the year. We hope you will contine to be a part of it all. It is because of you and your participation in HAR that ithat the World is becoming more aware of our group and we thank you very much for that and all you contribute.
.We see the world in much turmoil also as 2008 closes. This saddens all and allows chaos more free will in the universe. Unemployment and homelessness are at the highest rates since the Great Depression of 1920's & 30's. Hungry and starvation are a real threat throughout the world. Global warming and deforestation continue to kill off and threaten many of the world species. Pretty gloomy outlook isn't it ? Maybe it doesn't have to stay that way.
Christmas is the most magical of all seasons. A time of love and profound peace. A time when long ago people saw a white light in the Heavens and came together to bestow gifts to a child born in a manger. And on that one night even the animals spoke. Truely a magical night for the world.
So much magic in one seaon, perhaps if we all tried to get back to the root of this joyous holiday. To be kind to those we choose not to see, to give time to help rather than money, to try to find the magic in each day. Then perhaps that wonderous magic will once again grace the world with it's presents and revelations. Then it may come to pass that wishes and dreams may again come true.
If I had but one wish it would be that the world could come together and realize that the Earth is the only planet we have and we need to work together to keep the planet viable.
My holiday wishes for you and yours are theses: I wish ye health, family, properity, peace, love and faith. With those things you have it all. Much happiness in the New Year And never stop Believing in Magic!
