Hello Everyone,
There are many wonderful things in the works here at HAR. We started our Online Classes in January. The first two classes, Connecting to Your Angels and Opening Your Psychic Awareness started and are in full swing. We've gotten lots of great feedback from our students. Classes coming up are Working & Healing with Crystals starting February 21st and Oils, Incense & Brews I starting on March 4th. There are still openings for these classes, so remember to register early for your early-bird price.
Joining our staff last month are HAH Mary and HAH Peggy (HAH MaggieMae245). We'd like to welcome these wonderful new Hosts to our Heaven's Angels family. Look for these ladies in our chat rooms and say hi.

A note concerning mini-readings ... as of February 1st, we have raised the age limit on mini-readings in the chat rooms from 18 to 21. This is due to the discrepancy between state and federal laws in some states. So, as not to have to worry about which states require one to be 21 years of age, we have decided to make the age limit 21 across the board. Thank you all for your support in this matter.

We have a great lineup on our BlogTalk Radio show over the next several weeks. On February 8th, HAR Norah will present, The History of Valentines Day. She'll talk about who St Valentine was and how Valentines Day as we know it started. This is going to be a delightful show about the most romantic day of the year.
On February 15th, we'll be interviewing psychic-medium and paranormal investigator, Peter Ferraro. Peter will talk to us about his gifts and how he came to a life of service using his gifts. He'll also tell us what it's like to be a psychic investigator with his group, LIPI (Long Island Paranormal Investigations).
February 22nd brings us to a wonderful show, Getting to Know Your Chakras. HAR Amethyst will lead us through a grounding meditation and then help us understand the energies of each of the Chakras and how they relate to the areas in your physical, daily life.
Back by popular demand, Leesa Hagen, will continue her discussion of how Feng Shui can help us become more harmonious in our every day lives. She will be discussing the remaining six sections of the Bagua in this show titled, Feng Shui to Go: Part 2.
Leading into March, HAR Amethyst and HAR Rae will present, A Basic Introduction to Gemstones on March 8th. They'll be discussing eight of the more common gemstones, their properties, as well as their physical and metaphysical purposes. This show is a pre-curser to a future class that Heaven's Angels will be offering.
Last but not least of the scheduled shows is, History of the Candle, presented by HAR Rae. This show was rescheduled from an earlier date due to technical difficulties with the radio station. Rae will discuss candle history, how candles were made in different parts of the world throughout the passage of time, and basic color meanings. Rae will go into more detail about these and other things in an upcoming class on candles.

Historically, lavender was used as an antiseptic and for mental health purposes.
Today, the herb is used for conditions such as anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, and depression.
Lavender is also used for headache, upset stomach, and hair loss.
How It Is Used
Lavender is most commonly used in aromatherapyA therapy in which the scent of essential oils from flowers, herbs, and trees is inhaled to promote health and well-being., in which the scent of the essential oil from the flowers is inhaled.
The essential oil can also be diluted with another oil and applied to the skin.
Dried lavender flowers can be used to make teas or liquid extracts that can be taken by mouth.
What the Science Says
There is little scientific evidence of lavender's effectiveness for most health uses.
Small studies on lavender for anxiety show mixed results.
Some preliminary results indicate that lavender oil, combined with oils from other herbs, may help with hair loss from a condition called alopecia areata.
Side Effects and Cautions
Topical use of diluted lavender oil or use of lavender as aromatherapy is generally considered safe for most adults. However, applying lavender oil to the skin can cause irritation.
Lavender oil may be poisonous if taken by mouth.
When lavender teas and extracts are taken by mouth, they may cause headache, changes in appetite, and constipation.
Using lavender with sedative medications may increase drowsiness.

Cupid in Roman Mythology
Cupid was the god of love in Roman mythology. The name Cupid is a variation on Cupido ("desire"), and this god was also known by the name Amor ("love"). It was commonly believed that Cupid was the son of Venus - the Roman goddess of love - and this association between Venus and Cupid was quite popular in myth, poetry, literature, and art.
The ancient Romans often depicted Cupid as winged child or baby who carried a bow and quiver full of arrows. Indeed, the Roman poet Ovid seems to delight in portraying Cupid as a willful and capricious child in many of his poems from the Amores and the Art of Love. It is also from these collections of poetry that we get a wonderfully vivid description of the god of love:
"Cupid's there, quiver reversed, bow broken,
Holding a burnt-out torch.
See how sadly he walks, poor child, wings drooping,
How he beats at his bared breast,
How the tears rain down on his hair, now lying all tangled
About his throat, and his mouth's a loud O of grief.
Thus he looked, they say, long ago, when he saw his
Brother Aeneas to the grave..."
And while the idea that Cupid was a child with wings appealed to many poets and artists, there were also different conceptions of this important god. One of the most memorable myths about Cupid involves his relationship with the beautiful woman named Psyche. The tale of Cupid and Psyche is told in the Metamorphoses of Apuleius.
Cupid, Roman God of Love and perhaps the most famous of all Valentine symbols, has always played a role in the celebration of romance. As the son of Venus, he is often depicted as a mischievous, winged child whose arrows pierce the hearts of his victims, causing them to fall in love. Cupid is derived from the Latin word cupido, which means "desire." His Greek counterpart is Eros (from whom comes the word "erotic"), young son of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty, and Ares, God of War. In Greek mythology, Eros has a brother named Anteros, sometimes represented as the Avenger of Slighted Love and sometimes depicted as the symbol of Reciprocal Affection.
According to legend, Cupid's arrows come in two varieties: the Golden Arrow, which generally signifies true love, and the Leaden Arrow, which represents wanton and sensual passion. He is also known to sometimes carry a torch with which to inflame desire between men and women. Cupid is not always successful in his endeavors, however. Sometimes his arrows turn people away from those who fall in love with them. In some mythological tales, Venus was scratched by one of Cupid's arrows while playing with her son, the result being that the Godddess fell instantly in love with Adonis...the first man she saw after receiving the wound.
According to some sources, Cupid (as Eros) arose out of Chaos, along with Tartarus and Earth (making him one of the oldest Gods), only later becoming associated with Aphrodite as her winged son. The mingling of Eros (who, in this instance, was considered to have no parents) with Chaos is said to have created the race of birds. In certain mythological tales, it is stated that there was no race of immortals before Eros caused all things to mingle. Other legends maintain that Eros hatched from an egg laid by Nyx, also known as Night. Cherubs are also believed to be descendants of Cupid. Depicted as loveable little winged creatures devoid of either arrows or quivers, cherubs are typically not mischievous, as is their infamous alleged ancestor.

I would like to share one of my favorite enchantments: Using a red pencil, write down the names of two people who are to have a love relationship, or your name and the name of a person you would like to share deeper with. Draw a heart around the names. Fold the paper into a small square and plant it in a place where wild flowers bloom chanting "Love in truth, truth in beauty, beauty in love" Repeat this twice a day for 2 days. The goddess who loves all living things will help you and bring harmony and unity into romance. If friendship results, know that this is the true essence of love. Be patient.

Laws of the Universe
22. The Law of Economy The Brahma aspect of the Logos is characterized by that method in the wide distribution of matter, the scattering of the atoms of matter and their dissociation from one another, vibratory rhythm, heterogeneity and quality and their inherent rotary action. This Law of Economy causes matter always to follow the line of least resistance, and is the basis of the separative action of atomic matter. It governs matter, the opposite pole of spirit. Initiates must master this law before they can achieve liberation, or enlightenment.
23. The Law of Economy of Force One of the three major laws. The Activity Aspect. This is the law which adjusts all that concerns the material and spiritual evolution of the cosmos to the best possible advantage and with the least expenditure of force. It is the law of the physical atom, and makes perfect each atom of time and each eternal period and carries all onward and upward and through, with the least possible effort with the proper adjustment of equilibrium and with the necessary rate of rate of rhythm. Unevenness of rhythm is really an illusion of time, and does not exist in the cosmic center. We need to ponder on this, for it holds the secret of peace, and we need to grasp the significance of that word through, for it describes the next racial expansion of consciousness, and has a hidden meaning. The person who aims at providing a point of contact between conditions of chaos and Those Who work for constructive ends and order, should likewise use that most necessary factor of common-sense in all that s/he does. This involves always obedience to the law of economy of force, due to discrimination, and a true sense of values. Where these are present, time will be economized, energy will be wisely distributed, excessive zeal will be eliminated, and the Great Ones will be able to depend upon an aspirant's sagacity and thus find a helper.
24. The Law of Equalities (or Analogy), otherwise known as the Principle of Correspondence or Essential Divinity. "As above, so below; as below, so above." The major linking agent in the universe is the energy of love-wisdom, and the purpose of analogy is to lead the mind back toward the sense of oneness (enlightenment). The thoughts and images we hold in our conscious and subconscious minds will manifest their mirror likenesses in our external circumstances. Our outer world is a mirror of our inner world. Earth is a school for practicing these laws of mind control. There is a Correspondence between the Laws and Phenomena of the various planes of Being and Life. This principle enables the phenomenon of Discernment, Intuition, Hunches, etc. and that which is called remote viewing or out of body experience. Correspondence enables that which is normally unknowable, to become known to the individual who learns and knows how to use this principle. Some use it in a conscious and deliberate manner while others may not even be aware that they are using this principle. When used knowingly, it will enhance the clarity of vision and enables the mind to penetrate the most secret of secrets, and can shed light on many a dark paradox. Correspondence establishes the interconnectedness between all things in the universe and keeps all things relative to each other. Known to the adepts and masters of ancient Egypt as the substance of the ethereal, the spirit substance or web that pervades and interpenetrates the universe. This substance acts as a medium for the transmission of light, heat, electricity, gravity. It is non-material in nature. Also known as the un-created substance, or universal substance. The substance in which all suns, worlds, and galaxies are suspended in space, time, and change. All of us are intimately connected to all of the above mentioned events, and to each other, whether or not it is realized. The ethers are where spirit substance is manifesting the beginning of matter. Science refers to this substance as "dark matter" that cannot be seen, touched, smelled, or weighed. Dark matter does not absorb or reflect light and is therefore invisible. It is considered to be a non material substance. It was first discovered on Earth while doing research with the Hubble space telescope. The planes of Correspondence in the order of manifestation are, The Great Spiritual Plane; The Great Mental Plane; The Great Physical Plane, or the Trinity (the ascending scale of life and being).

How has your gift effected your life? There has been a sense of purpose and meaning in my life when I share the Gifts. I am closer to GOD which has made my life more fulfilling and rewarding.

Do you have any general life advise for our readers? There are a couple of quotes I would like to share. "Life if about the journey, not the destination" and "it is not who you love but how you love" . The advice from my heart would be to tap into the Universal Power (no matter who or what your Higher Power) and allow that love shine your light as a beacon to others. Ancient Celtic festival considered one of the greater sabbaths. Celebration marks the early signs of spring Imbolic Feb 2 time to honor , Brighid, Cerridwen the
Celtic goddess who in later times became revered as a Christian saint. Originally, her festival on February 1t was known as Imbolc or Oimelc, two names which refer to the lactation of the ewes, the flow of milk that heralds the return of the life-giving forces of spring. Later, the Catholic Church replaced this festival with Candlemas Day on February 2, which is edicated to the Virgin Mary and features candlelight processions. The powerful figure of Brigid the Light-Bringer overlights both pagan and Christian celebrations.
