Notes from Linda

Blessings to Everyone for a bright and wonderful 2009!! I hope that you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas or the holiday that you celebrated during this joyous season.

This year is a year of change and spiritual growth for many. We're going to see shifts in the Universal energies this year, and if we're open to these shifts, it's going to rain blessings upon us.

Speaking of changes and energy, Heaven's Angels Spiritual Reading (HAR) is going though many changes as well. It started within the last two months of 2008 and will continue strong throughout 2009.

In October of last year, we celebrated two anniversaries. It was our two year anniversary of HAR as a company and our one year anniversary for our radio show. Along with this, we've had many special guests on our radio show, and expect to have more throughout this new year.

In November, we launched the most anticipated division of our company for last year, The Lighted Path Investigations. This is a dream that I and many of our staff have had for several years. It has been in the development stage for the past two years and finally launched. We are very proud of this division of HAR, as it gives back to the community and the world through our ongoing work with various authorities and agencies. Our hope is that this work will have a beneficial affect on many cases that would otherwise go unsolved.

We've also had alot of growth within HAR itself in the last few months, gaining new Readers and new Hosts. And, in December, HAR Joni (aka WingzOfSpirit), who was on a leave of absence do to schooling, has rejoined our team. Welcome back Joni, we've missed you.

We also gained a new and wonderful Host, HAH Lisa (aka HAH Sunshine). Lisa we're glad to have you in the family. With the way things are going, I invite you all to look forward to getting to know even more new Readers and Hosts.

I would like at this time to ask all to continue to keep HAH Jeannie (aka HAH Happiness) in your prayers. Her operation went well and she is slowly recovering, and we hope to have her back with us soon.

We are still working on the Angels section for our website and hope to have that finished as soon as possible. Having founded the company based on our Angels, it is only fitting that we dedicate a section of our site to the wonders of Angels. If anyone has anything that you'd like to contribute to this section, please contact me and I would be happy to look at what you have.

We're still working on our new contract for authorities, and we'll also be adding a contact form for family members of cases we're working on. We're hoping to have these things up and running very soon

. I mentioned our Classes and workshops last month and had a target date of January 10th for launching this project. Well, we're not too far behind out target date. I am proud to introduce to you, Heaven's Angels Spiritual Readings School of Metaphysics.

Our first four classes have been scheduled, and the calendar and registration pages uploaded to our site. The first of our classes will be Connecting with Your Angels I: Basic Course, Oils, Incense and Brews I, Opening Your Psychic Awareness, and Working and Healing with Crystals. We have a great lineup of presentations for your listening pleasure on our HAR BlogTalk Radio show for the month of January.

On January 11th, we'll be presenting a guided meditation called, Connecting with Your Spirit Guides, presented by HAR Linda. If you've been wanting to meet your guides, this is a show not to miss.

January 17th brings us a very special Guest Presenter, Leesa Hagen. Leesa is a very gifted Reader, as well as a talented Feng Shui consultant. Come join Leesa as she brings us "Feng Shui To Go." Last but not least, on January 25th, we are proud to bring to you "It is Said: Candles," presented by HAR Linda. you'll learn the origins of why the candle is so important in our lives, as well as the meanings and uses for various candles.

Not to give anything away about February's show lineup, but one of the shows just may have something to do with love, or at least the origins of Valentine's Day. Again, I want to wish you all a very bright and blessed New Year, and a big Thank You for all your support and loyalty during the past year.

Common Names—Asian ginseng, ginseng, Chinese ginseng, Korean ginseng, Asiatic ginseng

What It Is Used For
Treatment claims for Asian ginseng are numerous and include the use of the herb to support overall health and boost the immune system. Traditional and modern uses of ginseng include:

Improving the health of people recovering from illness
Increasing a sense of well-being and stamina, and improving both mental and physical performance
Treating erectile dysfunction, hepatitis C, and symptoms related to menopause
Lowering blood glucose and controlling blood pressure

How It Is Used
The root of Asian ginseng contains active chemical components called ginsenosides (or panaxosides) that are thought to be responsible for the herb's medicinal properties. The root is dried and used to make tablets or capsules, extracts, and teas, as well as creams or other preparations for external use.

What the Science Says
Some studies have shown that Asian ginseng may lower blood glucose. Other studies indicate possible beneficial effects on immune function.
To date, research results on Asian ginseng are not conclusive enough to prove health claims associated with the herb. Only a handful of large clinical trials on Asian ginseng have been conducted. Most studies have been small or have had flaws in design and reporting. Some claims for health benefits have been based only on studies conducted in animals.
NCCAM supports studies to better understand the use of Asian ginseng. Areas of recent NCCAM-funded research include Asian ginseng's interactions with other herbs and drugs and the herb's potential to treat chronic lung infection, impaired glucose tolerance, and Alzheimer's disease.

Side Effects and Cautions
When taken by mouth, ginseng is usually well tolerated. Some sources suggest that its use be limited to 3 months because of concerns about the development of side effects.
The most common side effects are headaches and sleep and gastrointestinal problems.
Asian ginseng can cause allergic reactions.
There have been reports of breast tenderness, menstrual irregularities, and high blood pressure associated with Asian ginseng products, but these products' components were not analyzed, so effects may have been due to another herb or drug in the product.
Asian ginseng may lower levels of blood sugar; this effect may be seen more in people with diabetes. Therefore, people with diabetes should use extra caution with Asian ginseng, especially if they are using medicines to lower blood sugar or taking other herbs, such as bitter melon and fenugreek, that are also thought to lower blood sugar.

Tell your health care providers about any complementary and alternative practices you use. Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

Laws of the Universe

20. The Law of Divine Flow By living in the moment, centering ourselves in love and being in service to others (as opposed to service to self), we live in the law of divine flow. We stay in the moment by moment flowing of our higher self, creating actions which reflect love and allowing ness. When we are able to do this, we notice how we say just the right things, do what is best for all, and refrain from doing that which we previously disliked in ourselves or others. We maintain a stronger connection to our God self. The more we do this, the more we are able to do this. To a degree, the deliberate letting go of this flow is the allowing of our spiritual integrity to be compromised.

21. The Law of Divine Love and Oneness This Law concerns the ability of an entity to complete a round of reincarnation, develop such soul growth that the vibrational speed of the being qualifies him/her to merge with God. We then become a soul extension of God and among our choices many we have the ability to live in the liquid light which flows in and from God, or reincarnate as an avatar in third dimensional existence with the purpose of aiding mankind.

The first time the new year was celebrated on January 1st was in Rome in 153 B.C. (In fact, the month of January did not even exist until around 700 B.C., when the second king of Rome, Numa Pontilius, added the months of January and February.) The new year was moved from March to January

As the New Year takes fight, HAR is as always growing. I'd like to welcome the newest member of the HAR family, HAR WingzOfSpirit / Joni. Joni has many years of reading experience and a style that is all her own.

We are also embarking on a new project, Education. Heaven Angels Readings School of Metaphysics. will be offering four wonderful classes with more class to be added later. Having got a preview look at a couple of the classes, I will say that I am thinking about enrolling in some of them myself. Great accredited instructors,class materials for you to download, such as workbooks , small class size and lots of practice. Class will meet once a week in our web site chat rooms for class instruction. We are very happy to be able to offer classes. I believe that early enrolllment will get you a discount on the class fees. So hurry and go check out the information on our web site.
