Notes from Linda

Greetings, I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. I know I did. I spent it celebrating with family, which is one of my favorite things to do. I would like to apologize for the delay in our newsletter ... I've been working alot and haven't had much time to do my part of the newsletter.

I would like to welcome back HAR Rae and HAR Justin who both are returning back from a medical Leave of Absence. Both Rae and Justin are doing fine and we're happy to have them back on staff with us. I would also like to congratulate HAR Heather who just found out a few weeks ago that she's going to be a Mommy. Yea!! We're all very excited for Heather and would like to share the excitement with all of you. Joining our staff of Hosts is HAH Elizabeth. Elizabeth has been a regular to our rooms for the past couple years and has finally decided that she wanted to join our family. Please join me in welcoming her ... we're all very happy to have her with us.

I'm working with a few special guests for our radio show and hope to have them scheduled later this year. In the mean time, we have some really wonderful shows lined up for you, from formally introducing HAR Justin to Reiki 101 to more in our healing and gemstone series. We've had several people inquire about our classes. We've decided to take the summer off but we'll return in the fall with some of our most popular classes as well as some new classes. We hope you'll enjoy them. Look for our weekly healing sessions to be starting soon. We'll have a general healing our in which we'll do healing and prayer work for the group of guests who join us. We'll also have private mini-healing sessions for a little more personal and in depth healing. HAR Rae, our Healing Manager, is working with HAR Amethyst and HAR Tim to set up a few different types of sessions. We hope you'll check them out and find a session that you'll enjoy and be comfortable with. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. Until next time.

What It Is Used For
Historically, dandelion was most commonly used to treat liver diseases, kidney diseases, and spleen problems. Less commonly, dandelion was used to treat digestive problems and skin conditions.
Today, dandelion is used by some as a liver or kidney "tonic," as a diuretic, and for minor digestive problems.
How It Is Used
The leaves and roots of the dandelion, or the whole plant, are used fresh or dried in teas, capsules, or extracts. Dandelion leaves are used in salads or as a cooked green, and the flowers are used to make wine.

What the Science Says
There is no compelling scientific evidence for using dandelion as a treatment for any medical condition.

Side Effects and Cautions
Dandelion use is generally considered safe. However, there have been rare reports of upset stomach and diarrhea, and some people are allergic to the plant.
People with an inflamed or infected gallbladder, or blocked bile ducts, should avoid using dandelion.
Tell your health care providers about any complementary and alternative practices you use. Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

Stuck. In the middle of this �
Flat. Boring. Steady body of water.
Right in the middle. No Winds. No waves.
No Movement

It�s just me in this boat now. Got no tools.
No Toys. No Life preservers. No passengers.
Like I said � Just me � and the boat.
Not even a greeting or a wave. No waves to wave high.
Or even a sight of a passing vessel.

I hear the seagulls. At first it was music:
Beautiful ballads that painted
A pretty background
But the music was soon a Throbbing. Throbbing. annoyance.
It was almost as if the seagulls had it out for me
Turning the volume knob down,
I turned in. My synapses as my new song.

That song got old so fast.
I learned to know every beat and change by heart
I learned every crescendo and
Could time each symbol bang.
It BANGED. CLANGED. YELLED.
Until it again throbbed, until I gave up
The synapse ballad went turned into a numb song
You would hear in an elevator.
And I learned how to keep it at such a low level.

Such is my current state. Waiting for Wind.
I keep the brainwave tune turned down
Too loud is too much and too soft is too harsh
It pokes at me. Damn! Little Sharp Stick!

Once I longed for the seagull ballad
To feel the joy it provoked. At one time.
Now I can�t even find
A new one to take its place. Where a new one should be.
The thought of changing my tune
Makes the stick poke me again. Like a mother slaps her naughty son�s hand.
So I wait. Stuck. Waiting for a Wave.
My hand keeping the volume knob steady

Laws of the Universe

33. The Law of Good Will. Knowledge of this law will help those who have feelings of futility when thinking about the course of world events. By viewing life in terms of energy, we understand that our higher self coupled with our thought/mind action creates, and our actions/energy solidifies this thought into matter or results. In an energy relationship there is always a positive, creating side and a negative, receiving side of that creative relation. This is simply how the world works. The will-to-good is the positive, creative impetus, which, when received, makes the manifestation of goodwill possible. We are either mentally polarized or emotionally polarized, and only those who are mentally polarized can begin to appropriate this energy through will on the mental plane. When this is fully comprehended, we begin to realize why the manifestation of goodwill is not more widespread. Djwhal Khul states that "It is absolutely essential that the will-to-good be unfolded by the disciples of the world, so that goodwill can be expressed by the rank and file of mankind. The will-to-good of the world knowers is the magnetic seed of the future." From Rays and the Initiations. p. 110.

Our mental capacity today readily contacts those ideas which constitute the purpose behind the form. We have the ability to mentally construct a happening, and see it through to completion. This is will-to-good. The desire of one to create a loving scenario is 'goodwill', another but related action. The will-to-good is always an education process where the recipients are left free to receive the idea or not. The responsibility for expanding the amount of goodwill in the world directly lays on the shoulders of the intelligentsia of the world. In the goodwill process it is the creative/idea/problem solving individuals who are directly responsible for creating goodwill. The "rank and file" of humanity simply do not yet possess the mental capability to evoke the process yet, even though many are able to participate in the process. This knowledge should fill the responsible group with a greater amount of hope and assurance, because they have the power to generate goodwill in their every day routine solving of problems. Djwhal Khul says in Esoteric Healing, p. 545, "When the majority of the inhabitants of the earth are being rapidly oriented towards good, towards righteousness, as the Bible expresses it, and when the bulk of human beings are inclined towards goodwill 'then ill health will persistently, even if only gradually, disappear and die out and finally become nonexistent. Slowly, very slowly this is already happening.'"

I am not built to weather the battering waves or the howling wind. So I wait now in your presence. You spoke the oceans and the four winds into being. You threw the stars in the sky and separated the sea from dry land. You took the hand of Peter who was sinking into the depths of the water and walked him to safety. I choose now to fix my eyes on you and not on the storm. I settle my heart on your love and not on the current that threatens to pull me under. The Cancerian character is the least clear-cut of all those associated with the signs of the zodiac. Happy Independance Day. Forever may freedom wave. Yes, you got it I do wave the flag. Let the firworks light up the night sky and the firecrackers rock the halls. This great country has had some hard times and now is one of those times. There are a lot of Americans that could use some help other there, so if you can help someone please do. It will come back to you 3 fold.

We, Americans do survive. We do continnue to march forward and believe in freedom! It's one of this countries greats strenghts, So hip hip hooray America!

I want to apologize to our readers for the newsletter not being published the first week of the month as it usual is. As some of you alredy know, our fearless leader Aura, has recently changed jobs.
