Notes from Linda
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer so far. It's been beautiful here in California. A few days have been a bit hot, but so far it's been very tolerable and enjoyable.
Several things have happened with HAR this past month. First, I would like to welcome HAS Mary Ann (aka HAS HealingAngel) to our family. Mary Ann joined us in June in the capacity of Healer. She is an absolutely awesome Reiki Healer and is a great fit in the HAR family. Check the HAR site periodically as we'll soon be adding Mary Ann to our Readers' page, as well as creating a Healing page.
HAR Sylvia (HAR XianCai), who has been on LOA for about six weeks or so, had two Mondays off from her new job and read those Mondays. Guests were very excited to see her back for these two weeks and she had some really great shifts!! Sylvia is trying to work out her schedule so that she can come back to us very soon.
And the count down continues ... HAR Cookie is in her last month of classes. As most that have been frequenting HAR over the years know, Cookie took a LOA to do some continued education. Cookie is in her last month of studies and finals. Once she has completed this, we'll get her back in the reading line-up. She has been greatly missed. And for those new to HAR, you are going to be in for a wonderful treat as you watch her read in our rooms.
Heaven's Angels has started weekly Healing Sessions. These sessions, as is our chat room mini-reads, are free and open to all. Currently we are holding healing sessions on Monday nights while Sylvia is on LOA. Our plan it to move the Healing & Prayer Sessions to Sunday nights once our HAR reading staff is back in place. Once we move to Sundays, I will join in with the healing session, as I do work at church on Monday nights. HAR Rae (HAR RaeOfHope), who is our Healing Manager with "The Healers Within," and HAS Mary Ann (HAS HealingAngel) are currently working on Mondays and doing an awesome job!! Please join us for these sessions ... we do a variety of healings and prayers including for yourself, your loved ones, and for humanity as a whole.
HAR is revamping many of our current classes and creating new ones so that soon, and once a couple more of our staff is back from LOA, we will reopen our School of Metaphysics. Many have been asking us to reopen the school. With things settling for many of us at HAR and some members soon to return, we are listening to you. Currently, I am working on a few new classes ... Personal & Spiritual Development, The Processes of Abraham, Reiki: From Basics to Master, Pendulum Dowsing, Astral Projection, The Universal Laws & You, and a discussion class on The Laws of the Universe to name a few. I know that Rae is working on a few classes of her own, and Cookie had started working on a few classes before she went on LOA. Mary Ann has offered to help with teaching and will probably take on the Reiki class once we've had a trial run of the class.
Just a quick reminder to all ... Guidance from Beyond, HAR's Talk Radio Show will not be aired this Sunday in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We will be back at our regular time Sunday, July 11th with special guest Julie Haskins talking about "The Miracle of Hand Acupuncture." I've used this method and all I can say is WOW, it really works!! Please join us!! One final note ... there's lots of changes in store for HAR's website in the coming months. Keep an eye on us as we update things and grow to the next step in order to make your experience with us more pleasurable.

Happy Independence Day
I'm a frim believer in the ole read white and blue, freedom and what this country was founded on. The US is a relativly new country compared to European countries. While we do have our problems, it's still a great country and one you should be proud to be part of. So on the 3th go out and wave th eflag and enjoy the fireworks whihc celebrate our country's birthday.

We have a new member in our HAR group, HAS Healing Angel aka HAS MaryAnn. Mary Ann is a healer and is doing Monday evening healing sessions with HAR RaeOfHope in our AOL room. All are welcome to attend.
It's hard to believe that the Gulf oil spill is still unchecked after all this time.It is the worst enviromental disaster we have ever had to face. It has devastated the Gulf region , killed untold animals and no one seems to be able to stop the the oil or fix the damage already done.. It is possible that this oil spill could reach Europe. It's so over whelming I think people are just trying to not think about it unless they have to deal with it due to living in the region I also think that all of us better start thinking about it and trying to help do something and make sure your goverment representatives know how you feel about deep sea drilling.
If you'd like to do something to help but are unsure of what you can do I have compiled a short list of web sites and info below for you.

| 68. The Law of Periodicity. Training for the aspirant will by cyclic, and will have its ebb and flow, as all else in nature. Times of activity succeed times of pralaya, and periods of registered contact alternate with periods of apparent silence. If the student develops as desired, each pralayic period is succeeded by one of greater activity, and of more potent achievement. Rhythm, ebb and flow, and the measured beat of the pulsating life are ever the law of the universe. In learning to respond to the vibration of the high places, this rhythmic periodicity must be borne in mind. 69. The Law of Planetary Affinity. This law is concerned with the connection of the interaction of the planets with each other and their eventual marriage. 70. The Law of Polarity. Everything is Dual. Everything has poles. Everything has its pair of opposites. Like and unlike are the same. Opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree. All paradoxes may be reconciled. The evidence of this principle is observed in the polarity of planets and the various celestial bodies that includes our earth, solar system, and galaxy. Everything has polarity. Without the law of polarity - light, gravity and electricity would not be possible. On the mental plane, this principle manifests itself in the heart center of each person as the enlightened or dark mind. The Principle of Polarity makes possible the choices we make on the scale of life between good and evil, right and wrong, generosity and greed, love and fear, truth and lies. The law of cause and effect is closely connected to polarity and holds us true to the choices and actions we make by returning to us what we have measured out to others. Like the swing of the pendulum, it always returns where it began. In biblical terms it is expressed as, "Whatsoever a man sows, so shall he reap." "Do unto others, as you would have them to you." This principle establishes the paradox or the dual aspects of reality. "Everything that is, has its double." Positive and negative, light and darkness, hot and cold, Love and fear, mortality and Immortality.
71. The Law of Prayer and Meditation. Prayer is a conscious concerted effort to commune with the Consciousness of Life and its Creator and thus we speak to God. Prayer is also an aligning, cleansing process opening up our inner-selves to the Source of all life and demonstrating that we are anxious for enlightenment and guidance. In prayer we speak to God but so often we do not wait for a reply. Meditation is the freeing and emptying of ourselves of obstacles that hinder communication and allow us to channel the God-Force, spiritually, mentally and physically. Meditation is likened to God speaking to us, and is the attunement of our physical and mental bodies to their spiritual Source. "Be still and know that I am God." In meditation, correctly aligned and unobstructed, the Creative Forces of God can rise along spiritual and physical channels in our bodies and be disseminated through sensitive spiritual chakras. Prayer is the precursor of meditation. Meditate regularly as we meet the Living God within the temple of our own body, cleansed and consecrated. |

Gemstone of the Month Rubyl
July's birthstone is the Ruby
Like a perfect red rose, the Ruby's rich color speaks of love and passion. Called the "Rajnapura" or King of Gems by ancient Hindus, July's birthstone is among the most highly prized of gems throughout history. The Ruby was considered to have magical powers, and was worn by royalty as a talisman against evil. It was thought to grow darker when peril was imminent, and to return to its original color once danger was past—provided it was in the hands of its rightful owner!
Rubies were thought to represent heat and power. Ancient tribes used the gem as bullets for blowguns, and it was said that a pot of water would boil instantly if a Ruby was tossed into it. Ground to powder and placed on the tongue, this crystal was used as a cure for indigestion.
The word Ruby comes from the Latin "ruber," meaning red. It is a variety of the mineral Corundum, and is found as crystals within metamorphic rock. Corundum is the second hardest mineral, after Diamond. It comes in a variety of colors, and is considered a Sapphire in any color except red, which is designated as a Ruby. Rubies range in hue from an orangey red to a purplish red, but the most prized gems are a true red in color. Large sized Rubies are very rare and valuable.
The history of Ruby mining dates back more than 2,500 years ago. The most beautiful crystals are thought to be from Burma, but quality Rubies are also found in India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Kenya, Tanzania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the United States.
It has been said that the Ruby's red glow comes from an internal flame that cannot be extinguished, making a gift of this stone symbolic of everlasting love. With its hardness and durability, it is a perfect engagement gem. And if worn on the left hand, ancient lore has it that the Ruby will bring good fortune to its wearer, too!
