News and Features

We recently moved the website from a shared server to a dedicated server. Unfortunately, the transfer of databases did not make the transition too well. As a result, we couldn't transfer everyone's login details for our on-site chat room. Our chat room is now back up and running as of March 1. However, everyone will need to re-register their account again. We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience. We do hope to see you in our on-site chat room soon!

Our HAR Talk radio show has taken off like magic. Each Sunday we have more and more guests listening and becoming involved with the show. Candles, Herbs, Incense

Candlemagick

The candle colors for March are white, green and pink. The symbolism for White is purity, truth and sincerity. The symbolism for Green is finance, fertility and luck. The symbolism for Pink is honor, love and morality. The plant that goes with Green is a pansy. The plant that goes with Pink is a chochineal. The plant that goes with the White is a small white lily of the valley.

All candles burned in this month must be placed in a circle of wood chips or salt. The salt can be table or Dead Sea Salt. Place the name of the person on the candles of March and let them burn down. Doing this during the full moon or the waxing moon, will bring to you the qualities associated with the candle colors above. This should be done three times. Each on a different day. So let it be written.

Incense of the Month: Amber

Amber incense is a versatile scent that has many mundane, magical, and therapeutic uses. Amber has a wonderful sweet scent that is very soothing.

Amber is perfect for meditation as it is mood enhancing and stress relieving. It opens the heart center and calms the mind. For many people, simply smelling the scent of amber creates instant feelings of happiness and contentment.

Magically speaking, Amber may be used for love, peace, contentment, protection, courage, and to guard against negativity. Some also use it as an aphrodisiac.

For aroma therapy, amber can be used for asthma, sore throats, gout, nausea, swollen glands, and stomach ailments. The scent of amber acts as a relaxant and antispasmodic.

Herb of the Month: Feverfew

Feverfew is used in curing migraines. It can be found in pharmacies and health food stores. Two tablespoons placed in one cup of water and steeped for five minutes. Drink three times daily. Feverfew is a bitter tasting herb. Sugar or honey is strongly suggested to offset this bitter taste. Tablet form can be found in afore mentioned stores. This is not an immediate cure. It will take at least three months before the results are apparent.

Caution: Feverfew should not be used, under any circumstance, if you are pregnant or think you might be pregant, as this herb could cause miscarriage. Feverfew works for migraines because it causes a dialation of the blood vessels and therefore an increase in blood flow. Therefore, it should also not be used by those who are taking blood thinners or have any type of circulatory or blood thinning or clotting disorder. Feverfew should not be used by those who take a daily dose of aspirin or ibuprofen and it must always be kept out of the reach of children.

As with any mediation, herbal remedies can have side effects or interact poorly with other herbs or medications, or can negatively stimulate another undiagnosed health condition.

Gemstone of the Month

Aquamarine

The Gemstone for March is Aquamarine. It is also found under the term Beryl. The crystal deals with the energies from nature and manifests itself physically. This crystal is used at the time of death to help with the transformation of the soul's three parts: the part that comes from the Great Spirit, the part that is the essence that is you, and the part that is animal spirit. The part that is animal spirit links us to the energies of plant life and forms of life on the earth.

The colors of this stone vary from shades of blue to blue green. The stronger shades of this stone work to bring out the energies of protection and courage from the inner self. The softer colored pastel version of this stone offers calm and peace to the bearer of the stone.

Aquamarine is the strongest energy stone used in divination. A simple example of divination is to place pure spring water into a clear crystal bowl with the aquamarine stone. Go into a meditative gaze and watch the waters to see what images come to you.

The shape of this stone is usually found as a hexagonal. The elements that work with this stone are Air, Fire, and Earth. Remember this is already a stone that is of the water elements. Air, Fire and Earth are the energies that will agree to work with a high success rate. The Ancients used this stone to create rain. So let it be written.

This Months HAR interview is with HAR Honeybunny

What is your psychic gift?
My gift is one of channeling and empath and healing. But I so enjoy channeling and love to bring messages to ones if it is meant at the time of their asking. I am very much drawn to case work related to finding those who are missing as soon as possible, and/or the culprits involved, so families can hopefully receive closure and we can get those who harm.

What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is turquoise I like blends and natural tones.

At what age did you realize you had these gifts?
My earliest memories were at the age of four or five. I always had one around me in spirit almost as if I literally had a human friend around. My grandmother, great aunt, and mom were aware of their gifts so it made it very easy to accept this from an early age. In fact I felt never alone, but it is hard growing up with a developed gift, however it develops and one's understanding of it develops with age.

What type of music do you like?
My favorite music is from the 70's: a blend again of rock, hard rock, soft medleys, jazz, and symphony - yes symphony - love it! And also the blues.

How has your gift affected your life?
My gift affected my life by my always thinking I was little different. It is like I never just fit in with one group growing up I was always drawn to all the good all that is. To me, it is very hard growing up with gifts even if your family allows you to know it is ok. In my day it wasn't ok to be as freely open about this and I stayed around my elders a lot, watching them with their gifts inside their homes of course. I would spend major time alone or watch my grandma at her little house read regular cards.

But, one thing I do know is that I have always drawn children and ones who need help dramatically even from an early age. It can be hard for me, I think even now, because I just feel weird again. It's hard to put in to words. Another thing though was that having these gifts made me even more so want to serve fellow man. That is probably what drew me to the Nursing and Dance field and to touch ones and just to share a smile or a hands on. I have been one of the quieter ones as far as going the notoriety route with the gift as I feel no room or reason for competitiveness, because to me, there should never be any - in fact all of us have a gift you know. But, with age I am opening up more to more possibilities of reaching more which I have put on hold for many years. I am happy so all is good.

Do you do anything to enhance your gift?
One thing I definitely do to enhance my gift is to always, every morning, thank God for it and ask him to allow me to always be open to more learning of lessons and to never ever feel like I am at the top of this because I'm not nor will I ever be. I also ask that if something is for me to receive or help with, to let it come if destined. Other than that I really have never taken classes or seminars on any of this subject matter. Again, I was lucky to have been raised in a family with openness on this subject matter. We are a catholic family and very humble people regardless.

Do you have any general life advice for our readers?
My advice, if you would like to hear, is one important thing that I felt was the biggest hurdle with me and my gift. That is TRUST. It is so normal for human nature to second guess you know, but trusting was so hard for me, but then again, I made it hard because I take so deeply and seriously the messages I am giving to another. I don't want to make a person think they have to do as told, that's not my place.

I would rather share something very much of importance or a message of hope, but one that is honest as well. HONESTY is another big step with my channeling and connections. There should never be room for telling another what they want to hear just to make them happy or to mislead them. That is so wrong. I also think one should remember we're dealing with another human being and never feel we're better or above another. Again, no competition should exist, nor taking advantage of others, in this line of work.

I also encourage you to endure and to continue to be open and listen and learn. That doesn't mean that your inner voice won't tell you what is right or wrong, because it will. But please try to listen to your own gut instincts - to me this is your message center. It usually gives you the feeling of what is good or bad for you.
