Notes from Linda

Hello All. My name is Linda (aka Mystic Aura). I am creator and owner of Heaven's Angels Spiritual Readings. After working for two other Reading Forums, I was encouraged by friends to start a group of my own. So, in October of 2006, HAR was "born."

In my "Notes From Linda" column I will share what is happening within our group, as well give you up to date information on current happenings.

There has been a few changes within the HAR family recently. Some of our Readers and Staff have gone on to pursue other interests. We wish them much success in their new endeavors. Likewise, we are in the process of bringing on board awesome new Readers, Hosts and Staff. We are always looking for good people, so if anyone is interested in joining our wonderful family, please visit our site and click the Application link at the bottom of any page.

I would like to welcome back from Leave of Absence HAR Jo'Ni (aka HAR Tranquility). She has been on leave for several months and was sorely missed. Jo'Ni is a wonderful Reader and a great asset to the HAR family. I invite you all to visit our chat rooms on AOL and on-site to watch her read. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

HAR has created a group on the Care2 Network. Our group is called Heavens Angels and can be found in the Spirituality and Religion section. Although we don't do readings there, we do discuss spirituality, as well as other important topics of interest. We will also be discussing the causes that we support and are close to our hearts, and ask for your support. At this time, we would like to invite all to join our Heavens Angels group on the Care2 Network.

Please join us each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM PST for our radio show on BlogTalkRadio. During the month of May, we will start our Meet HAR series, which will highlight our various Readers. We will also have a Q & A session with HAR Deborah Rose (aka HAR Honeybunny), talk about Psychic Attacks, and continue our Empowerment of Women series. Herb - Ginkgo

For thousands of years, and cooked seeds are occasionally eaten. More recently, ginkgo leaf extract has been used to treat a variety of ailments and conditions, including asthma, bronchitis, fatigue, and tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

Today, people use ginkgo leaf extracts hoping to improve memory; to treat or help prevent Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia; to decrease intermittent claudication (leg pain caused by narrowing arteries); and to treat sexual dysfunction, multiple sclerosis, tinnitus, and other health conditions.

How It Is Used
Extracts are usually taken from the ginkgo leaf and are used to make tablets, capsules, or teas. Occasionally, ginkgo extracts are used in skin products.

What the Science Says
Numerous studies of ginkgo have been done for a variety of conditions. Some promising results have been seen for Alzheimer's disease/dementia, intermittent claudication, and tinnitus among others, but larger, well-designed research studies are needed.

Side Effects and Cautions
Side effects of ginkgo may include headache, nausea, gastrointestinal upset, diarrhea, dizziness, or allergic skin reactions. More severe allergic reactions have occasionally been reported.

There are some data to suggest that ginkgo can increase bleeding risk, so people who take anticoagulant drugs, have bleeding disorders, or have scheduled surgery or dental procedures should use caution and talk to a health care provider if using ginkgo.

Uncooked ginkgo seeds contain a chemical known as ginkgotoxin, which can cause seizures. Consuming large quantities of seeds over time can cause death. Ginkgo leaf and ginkgo leaf extracts appear to contain little ginkgotoxin.

It is important to inform your health care providers about any herb or dietary supplement.

Psychic Attack

Psychic attacks are defined as the manipulation of supernatural energies and forces. Psychic attacks occur when negative energetic vibrations are sent from one individual to another individual or place creating disturbances in the energetic and physical bodies of the person or place. This negative energy can be called a spirit, an entity, or a negative energy. Each of these energies can create harmful effects within the person receiving them.

Psychic attacks involve the manipulation and movement of different types of negative energies, entities and spirits. They involve the transferring of negative energies into someone's physical and/or energetic bodies. Some of the dark energies and entities that find their way into physical and energetic bodies, and homes are sent without awareness, even though they are sent by humans. Others are sent intentionally to create harm and damage, often to control, manipulate or punish the individual. They can involve ritualistic techniques or ceremonies or use the psychic powers of the mind or a combination of any of these.

It is possible to attract negative energy to ones self. Acts and state of mind such as negative thinking, anger, wishing harm to others, jealousy, animosity, seeking revenge, vindictiveness, anger, rage and fear can attract negative energy especially if they are prolonged. This doesn't mean you can't get angry at someone, it means you shouldn't dwell on it. If one is able to project these types of negative energies towards another the energy often will attach to one's aura in layers and build over time if not cleansed. This layering can cause wide range of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual difficulties.
