From AmethystM
Date October 10, 2008,
HAR_Linda
I asked for a "what can you see or feel" reading. HAR Linda immediately picked up on the main issue in my life at this time and expounded on the issues surrounding everything. I was deeply touched that she connected so quickly and showed compassion with concern and understanding. It was an excellent reading and was exactly what I needed to hear. She was the reader I was guided to without even knowing why I was there. It was a meant to be reading given in divine time

Notes from Linda
Hello Everyone,
I hope you all had a great Halloween. I know I did. We had a double anniversary in October ... on October 28th, we celebrated our one year anniversary of our HAR BlogTalk Radio show. Then on October 31st, we celebrated our second year of Heaven's Angels Spiritual Readings (HAR) as a company. We're all very excited and we look forward to more years of sharing energies with you.
I hope you all had a chance to catch our wonderful guests on our radio show in October. We had Dyan Garris talking about Manifestation Therapy on the 5th, Sonora Paranormal Investigators (SPI) on the 12th and Long Island Paranormal Investigators (LIPI) on the 26th, our anniversary show. We also had our own HAR Rae talking about the beliefs of the Dark Druids on the 19th. If you missed any of these awesome shows, you can listen to the downloads on our BTR site at www.blogtalkradio.com/heavensangelsreadings.
I'd like to give a warm welcome to some new members of our HAR family. I'd like you all to welcome, HAH Kim (aka HAH Indigo) and HAH Brianna (aka HAH AngelHealer). Brianna is serving double duty with HAR, not only hosting but also doing healing's. You can find her bio page under HAR Brianna in the Readers section of our site. Joining us also is HAR Cookie, a wonderful Reader, Healer and Instructor. Her page can also be found in the Reader's section.
HAR has finally launched the investigative section of our group called, The Lighted Path. The Lighted Path is a team of HAR Readers and HAR Reader affiliates that work together helping law enforcement agencies throughout the country in solving cases, which include but is not limited to, missing persons (children and adults), homicides, and unsolved/cold cases. This part of our group is something that I and many of the other Readers have been wanting to do since HAR's inception. Last month, it finally manifested. The Lighted Path website can be accessed through our Heaven's Angels Readings website or found on it's own via search engines. Just a note, we work strictly with law enforcement agencies. We don't take on private cases, for obvious reasons. So, if you know someone that is in need of help, please refer them to the proper local authorities in their area and the agency will decide if they need our help.
We're still working on the Angels and Paranormal sections of our website, so please keep an eye out for these.
If things stay on track, we are planning on starting our long awaited workshops and classes after the first of the new year. Please check back with us often to see our progress with this. If there are any topics that you would want us to cover, please drop me a note telling of your request at HARLinda@heavensangelsreadings.com.
November is the start of the holiday season, and along with this comes holiday stress. Please read the issues of our newsletter, The Oracle Messenger, to find tips on relieving the stress. We'll be having a Stress Relief meditation show by HAR Norah as we get closer to the holidays. Other upcoming shows will be two more installments of the Meet HAR series, introducing HAR Cookie and HAR Brianna.
I want to wish everyone a great early start to the Holiday season.

Common Names-bitter orange, Seville orange, sour orange, Zhi shi
Latin Names-Citrus aurantium
What It Is Used For
Bitter orange has been used in traditional Chinese medicin.e A whole medical system that originated in China. It is based on the concept that disease results from disruption in the flow of qi and imbalance in the forces of yin and yang. Practices such as herbs, meditation, massage, and acupuncture seek to aid healing by restoring the yin-yang balance and the flow of qi. and by indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest for nausea, indigestion, and constipation.
Current uses of bitter orange are for heartburn, loss of appetite, nasal congestion, and weight loss. It is also applied to the skin for fungal infections such as ringworm and athlete's foot.
How It Is Used
The dried fruit and peel (and sometimes flowers and leaves) are taken by mouth in extracts, tablets, and capsules. Bitter orange oil can be applied to the skin.
What the Science Says
There is not enough scientific evidence to support the use of bitter orange for health purposes. Many herbal weight-loss products now use bitter orange peel in place of ephedra. However, bitter orange contains the chemical synephrine, which is similar to the main chemical in ephedra. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration banned ephedra because it raises blood pressure and is linked to heart attacks and strokes; it is unclear whether bitter orange has similar effects. There is currently little evidence that bitter orange is safer to use than ephedra.
Side Effects and Cautions
Because bitter orange contains chemicals that may speed up the heart rate and raise blood pressure, it may not be safe to use as a dietary supplementA product that contains vitamins, minerals, herbs or other botanicals, amino acids, enzymes, and/or other ingredients intended to supplement the diet. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has special labeling requirements for dietary supplements.. There have been reports of fainting, heart attack, and stroke in healthy people after taking bitter orange supplements alone or combined with caffeine. People should avoid taking bitter orange if they have a heart condition or high blood pressure, or if they are taking medications (such as MAO inhibitors), caffeine, or other herbs/supplements that speed up the heart rate.
Due to lack of safety evidence, pregnant women should avoid products that contain bitter orange. Bitter orange oil used on the skin may increase the risk of sunburn, particularly in light-skinned people.
Tell your health care providers about any complementary and alternative practices you use. Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

Welcome to the. "Ask the Oracle" column. I am the mystical, magical, wondrous and all seeing Oracle. I have plunged my cloaked arm deep into the subscribers well of emails and picked just two lucky persons who's question I and my all knowing, all seeing and very competent staff of clairvoyant and empathic assistants will now answer.........
(Fanfare, applause, candles lit, incense lit, magic dust sprinkled ever so carefully)
Our question comes from Sherry- Will I move ever to Florida? or if not, do you see me ever buying a house?
What I got is that she should wait till after holidays and really make
sure before she would move to another state really. Seems like jobs
and even properties are still going to be going some unsteadiness you
know. But, she also seems very conflicted within herself at this time
meaning to really make sure what she really wants and expects if she
did move there. It seems like there is still lots more that has to be
done where she is now first you know and to take her time and make
sure it is done right
Please submit your questions to Oracle@heavensangelsreadings.com Include your date of birth and first name. No medical or legal questions please. Then check out next month's newsletter to see if your question was selected. |

A Time of Thanks
By: DS
Many cultures from ancient to modern have celebrated the fall harvests. It was a time to gather with friends and family to give thanks for the bounty the earth had provided and the safety of their fields
In earlier times humans believed that crops contained spirits which is what made them grow. Also that spirits or evil forces were to blame for the destruction of crops. In turn they believed that during the harvestings of crops these spirits were released and may have grown angry with the famers for releasing them.So harvest festival’s were held not only for giving thanks for the harvests but also for defeating the spirits.
Harvest festivals and thanksgiving celebrations were held by the ancient Greeks, the Romans, the Hebrews, the Chinese, and the Egyptians.
The Greeks
The ancient Greeks worshipped many gods and goddesses. Their goddess of corn (actually all grains) was Demeter who was honored at the festival of Thesmosphoria held each autumn.
On the first day of the festival married women would build leafy shelters and furnish them with couches made with plants. On the second day they fasted. On the third day a feast was held and offerings to the goddess Demeter were made - gifts of seed corn, cakes, fruit, and pigs. It was hoped that Demeter's gratitude would grant them a good harvest.
The Romans
The Romans also celebrated a harvest festival called Cerelia, which honored Ceres their goddess of corn . The festival was held each year on October 4th and offerings of the first fruits of the harvest and pigs were offered to Ceres. Their celebration included music, parades, games and sports and a thanksgiving feast.
The Chinese
The ancient Chinese celebrated their harvest festival, Chung Ch'ui, with the full moon that fell on the 15th day of the 8th month. This day was considered the birthday of the moon and special "moon cakes", round and yellow like the moon, would be baked. Each cake was stamped with the picture of a rabbit - as it was a rabbit, not a man, which the Chinese saw on the face of the moon.
The families ate a thanksgiving meal and feasted on roasted pig, harvested fruits and the "moon cakes". It was believed that during the 3 day festival flowers would fall from the moon and those who saw them would be rewarded with good fortune.
The Hebrews
Jewish families also celebrate a harvest festival called Sukkoth. Taking place each autumn, Sukkoth has been celebrated for over 3000 years.
Sukkoth is know by 2 names - Hag ha Succot - the Feast of the Tabernacles and Hag ha Asif - the Feast of Ingathering. Sukkoth begins on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Tishri, 5 days after Yom Kippur the most solemn day of the Jewish year.
Sukkoth is named for the huts (succots) that Moses and the Israelites lived in as they wandered the desert for 40 years before they reached the Promised Land. These huts were made of branches and were easy to assemble, take apart, and carry as the Israelites wandered through the desert.
When celebrating Sukkoth, which lasts for 8 days, the Jewish people build small huts of branches which recall the tabernacles of their ancestors. These huts are constructed as temporary shelters, as the branches are not driven into the ground and the roof is covered with foliage which is spaced to let the light in. Inside the huts are hung fruits and vegetables, including apples, grapes, corn, and pomegranates. On the first 2 nights of Sukkoth the families eat their meals in the huts under the evening sky.
The Egyptians
The ancient Egyptians celebrated their harvest festival in honor of Min, their god of vegetation and fertility. The festival was held in the springtime, the Egyptian's harvest season.
The festival of Min featured a parade in which the Pharaoh took part. After the parade a great feast was held. Music, dancing, and sports were also part of the celebration.
When the Egyptian farmers harvested their corn, they wept and pretended to be grief-stricken. This was to deceive the spirit which they believed lived in the corn. They feared the spirit would become angry when the farmers cut down the corn where it lived.
The United States
In 1621, after a hard and devastating first year in the New World the Pilgrim's fall harvest was very successful and plentiful. There was corn, fruits, vegetables, along with fish which was packed in salt, and meat that was smoke cured over fires. They found they had enough food to put away for the winter.
The Pilgrims had beaten the odds. They built homes in the wilderness, they raised enough crops to keep them alive during the long coming winter, and they were at peace with their Indian neighbors. Their Governor, William Bradford, proclaimed a day of thanksgiving that was to be shared by all the colonists and the neighboring Native American Indians.
The custom of an annually celebrated thanksgiving, held after the harvest, continued through the years. During the American Revolution (late 1770's) a day of national thanksgiving was suggested by the Continental Congress.
In 1817 New York State adopted Thanksgiving Day as an annual custom. By the middle of the 19th century many other states also celebrated a Thanksgiving Day. In 1863 President Abraham Lincoln appointed a national day of thanksgiving. Since then each president has issued a Thanksgiving Day proclamation, usually designating the fourth Thursday of each November as the holiday.
Canada
Thanksgiving in Canada is celebrated on the second Monday in October. Observance of the day began in 1879.

No use in planning
No use in worrying
Live as if you're dreaming - Like nothings supposed to make sense
Messes are beautiful, chaos is exciting.
Everyone is building,
And everything is dying.
All the old is cold, and as we slowly rise above it, and learn to let it go?
we are dreaming up our universe
the warmth and love of the new and old
of what was - what will be
By living in the mystery!
The HERE
The NOW
It's so true, it's so wow!.
Its our hope
Its our strength
And its everything we've could ever dream of,
So we dream on.

Reflective mirroring is a way to deflect darkness or evil away from your dwelling, yourself and those you care about.
Imagine that you have 6 huge mirrors.
Imagine that these huge mirrors are little bigger than a side of your house/apartment/dwelling.
Now imagine putting them one at a time along side your dwelling but turn them so the reflective mirror is turned away from your dwelling.
Mentally push them deep into the ground, 20 feet or so.Slide one pane under your dwelling and one over.Forming a box, bond them together with prayers so that NOTHING evil can find an opening. The origin of this process is unknown, but I've found it very effective and protective.
Blessings & Love,
Linda (Aura)

Laws of the Universe
16. The Law of Cyclic Return - Otherwise known as the wheel of reincarnation, once a soul qualifies for an incarnation to third dimension, there is an understanding that it must be completed. Reincarnation is that process by which the 'consciousness of the permanent atom' manifests in another body through the human birthing process. (This accounts for the fact of genius in the very young.) All karma must be cleared or forgiven and certain aspects of soul growth accomplished before this entire episode of reincarnational growth is considered finished.
17. The Law or Right to Decree (Divine Invocation) - This particular law exists for those working in service to others. Self serving beings will find this law ineffective. This law allows the ascended realms to move from the confines of the Law of Non-Intervention to act on our behalf. Add the phrase to your decree, "Under the Law of Grace" as this is an 'out' clause which will not allow us to manifest or invoke anything which would be detrimental to our existence or not of the highest interest for all, and remain karmic free. In order for your decree to work it must be invoked three times. An Example - "By Divine Decree, in the name of (Yahweh, God, Jesus, Ascend Masters, healing Angels, Mother Mary, My I AM self, etc.) and under the Law of Grace, I ask for _____. It is done, and I thank you." Say the entire request three times, then let it go - trust it is in higher hands.
18. The Law of Discipline - By practicing discipline, one expands the entity to a greater degree than almost any other action. Discipline is the surest means to greater freedom and independence. It provides the focus to achieve the skill level and depth of knowledge that translates into more options in life. Commitment involves discipline over a specific period of time. Discipline and commitment provide the bridge between here and our goals.

Prayer of the Month
Refuse to fall down.
If you cannot refuse to fall down,
refuse to stay down.
If you cannot refuse to stay down
lift your heart toward heaven
and like a hungry beggar,
ask that it be filled,
and it will be filled.
You may be pushed down.
You may be kept from rising.
But no one can keep you from lifting
your heart toward heaven - only you.
It is in the middle of misery that
so much becomes clear.
The one who says nothing good came of this,
is not yet listening.

Gemstone of the Month
Topaz is a common gemstone that has been used for centuries in jewelry. Its golden brown to yellow color is classic but is confused with the less valuable citrine, which is sold under the name topaz. The blue topaz that is often confused with aquamarine is rarely natural and is produced by irradiating and then heating clear crystals. Topaz is the November Birthstone.

Gemstones: Topaz Starstone OPAL
Metal : Iron , Steel Element : Water Planet : Pluto
Being a water sign, Scorpio is considered highly passionate, imaginative, determined, persevering, inflexible and self-confident.
Traditionally, the planet Mars has been considered to be the ruler of Scorpio, and since its discovery, Pluto has been considered a modern ruler of this sign. Some modern astrologers consider Pluto to be a more appropriate ruler over the sign, citing the reason for Mars having initially ruled the sign being that Pluto had not yet been discovered In 2006 Pluto was reclassified by astronomers as a "dwarf planet", and therefore is no longer considered a planet in astronomy, although this has not reduced its significance to astrologers as the modern ruler of Scorpio.
As the eighth sign in the zodiac, Scorpio is associated with the astrological house number 8, which is associated with natural Scorpio matters - birth, death, transformation, deeply committed relationships of all kinds, and the occult and psychic matters.

From the Editor
Merry Meet~
Blessings to all for the coming Thanksgiving. Yes, pagans also give thanks we aren't as heathen as some might think.
Here's a bit of moon lore for you. November's full moon on the 13th is considered to be a, Full Beaver Moon - November This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon.
As time turns towards the close of this year, we are embraced by the joy and cheer of the holidays. A wonderous time for family and friends to reconnect, catch up of this past years events. A time to hold those we care about close and remember those who have past this world for the next.
It's the most hectic of season's.So much hussel and bussel, never enough time to get done all that you would like for those you care about and those less fortunate than ourselves. In trying to make everything so perfect for those aroud you, take time for yourself. You deserve it and it will help to keep you grounded and make for a happier time for all. Remember to also be thankful for what you do have rather than depressed about what you don't. There are so many who have lost so much in the past year. You can feel the sorrow, hopelessness and pain in the air and the energy around us. There is much more negativity than there has been. It' so thick it is very easy to become derpressed yourself. Staying grounded will help so it doesn't cling to you so easliy.
Please note our chat rooms will be closed on Thanksgiving
Blessed Be.
