Herb Evening Primrose Oil

Evening primrose is a plant native to North America, but it grows in Europe and parts of the Southern Hemisphere as well. It has yellow flowers that bloom in the evening. Evening primrose oil contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid. Essential fatty acids are required by the body for growth and development, and must be obtained from the diet.

Common Names—evening primrose oil, EPO
Latin Name—Oenothera biennis

What It Is Used For
Evening primrose oil has been used since the 1930s for eczema (a condition in which the skin becomes inflamed, itchy, or scaly because of allergies or other irritation).
More recently it has been used for other conditions involving inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
Evening primrose oil is used for conditions affecting women's health, such as breast pain associated with the menstrual cycle, menopausal symptoms, and premenstrual syndrome.
Other conditions for which evening primrose oil is used include cancer and diabetes.

How It Is Used
Evening primrose oil is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose. The oil is usually put into capsules for use.

What the Science Says
Evening primrose oil may have modest benefits for eczema, and it may be useful for rheumatoid arthritis and breast pain. However, study results are mixed, and most studies have been small and not well designed.
Evening primrose oil does not appear to affect menopausal symptoms.
Although some clinical trials have shown a benefit of evening primrose oil for premenstrual syndrome, the best-designed trials found no effect.
There is not enough evidence to support the use of evening primrose oil for other health conditions.

Side Effects and Cautions
Evening primrose oil is well tolerated by most people. Mild side effects include gastrointestinal upset and headache.
Tell your health care providers about any complementary and alternative practices you use. Give them a full picture of what you do to manage your health. This will help ensure coordinated and safe care.

Yes, this is one of your soul mates. We can have many.

Bear in mind, a soul mate can either allow our hearts to sing, or not. Pay attention to how you feel in the presence of this person. and how the person reacts in yours.

I'm picking up, partnerships are very important, and that you work hard for your money. In this life your main lesson is learning, one on one partnerships, and in every different way. Working towards wealth, and independence, many new beginnings. Please take time out, from time to time to rest, play, relax, and get away.

As a refresher from months part 1: Not everyone "hears" angelic voices as an audible sound. Many people receive divine messages through nonverbal means such as visions, feelings, or a knowingness. Hearing the voice of an angel is called "clairaudience," which means "clear hearing." Their voice may sound like your own or it may sound different. The voice can come from within your body, within your mind, or sound as if it's outside your head. Angelic voices are consistently loving and supportive, even when they warn us of impending dangers or wrong turns.

Angelic voices, in contrast, patiently repeat the guidance to us day after day, until we finally follow it. You may hear your angels tell you for years that you would be a great healer or author, for example. Or your angels may repeatedly ask you to take better care of your body. You know that guidance comes from angels when it is loving, focused, not hurtful to you or your family, and consistent.

A recent poll published in Time magazine revealed that 69 percent of Americans believe in angels, and 46 percent of that group believe they have a personal guardian angel.Clairaudience is just one-fourth of the ways we receive angelic assistance, however. Your angels may speak to you in pictures and visual, mental images. We call this "clairvoyance" or "clear seeing." Intuitively, you might readily understand what the visual images mean. For instance, you might see an image of a trophy and instinctively, you know this means that success is ahead for you. If you have trouble understanding your angelic visual guidance, be sure to ask for assistance. Ask your angels to clarify their message, and continue asking for clarification until you are
completely certain of their meaning.

Sometimes we shut down our angelic channels of communication because of fear. You might see an image of your future that frightens you.The third way we receive angelic guidance is through our emotions and physical sensations. We call this, "clairsentience," or "clear feeling”. Clairsentients get divine guidance through bodily
sensations, such as a tightening of the jaw, fists, stomach or sex organs. They intuitively know the specific meaning of these tightening reactions. A clairsentient feels air pressure and room temperature changes that warn him of negative situations.

Clairsentients get angelic messages through their heart and love emotions, as well. If a thought of doing something swells your chest with warm feelings of joy, this is a directive from God and the angels. Each of our five senses has a corresponding spiritual sense. Clairsentients receive angelic guidance through an etheric
sense of smell, taste, and touch. You may know that your beloved deceased grandmother is near when you smell her perfume or favorite flower fragrance.

We call the fourth means of angelic communication "claircognizance" or "clear knowing." You can ask a claircognizant a question on almost any topic in the world. Within minutes, he will give you an accurate answer, completely supported by facts and figures. You might say, "How did you know that?" and he'll answer,
"I don't know! A few minutes ago, I didn't know that information."A claircognizant knows, without knowing how he knows. Consequently, he may doubt the validity of his knowingness. This is a mistake, because when divine wisdom enters our mind, it is a gift we can use to improve our life, and to serve the world. A laircognizant knows, without knowing how he knows. Consequently, he may doubt the validity of his knowingness.Even those who believe in the existence of angels believe that their
guardian angels rarely make a physical appearance. However, there are other ways guardian angels can make their presence known, they say.

Angels are here to help us heal from the effects of fear. They are powerful healers. The more we invite angels into our lives, the more readily our lives reflect the splendor of heaven. They help us in innumerable ways In researching, I have found several stories supporting evidence that angels in fact do exist and unexplainable events that lead to more validity of the existence of angels.

Here is an example of one written by Sharon Singler, in Michigan Surgery terrified me, but my doctor said it was necessary. "God, please be with me," I asked as I sat in my hospital bed waiting. Finally a nurse came in. "I'll escort you to the operating room," she said, and helped me into a wheelchair. In the hallway another nurse caught up with us. "My name's Joy," she said. "And I'll be with you, too. Joy didn't leave my side, even as the anesthetic started to work on me. Just before I went under, Joy gently placed her hands on either side of my face. Her touch was so delicate. My fears left me and I felt completely at peace.

Back in my room after surgery, I told the other nurse how Joy had relaxed me with her touch. "Is she still on duty?" I asked. The nurse assured me there was no one on staff named Joy, and that she alone had accompanied me to the operating room. I knew
better.Throughout our lives we hear of the Angels and a large part of our beliefs are founded on those of our religious teachings, no matter what the religion. But the personal belief in Angels is always one of personal faith. With all the knowledge available to the scientific world today, one must be aware that science can never prove or disprove the existence or activity of Angels. One only knows that Angels exist, through faith.

The celebration of Samhain (pronounced in proper Gaelic: "sow-in") came from the Celtic peoples many centuries ago. This yearly festival was adopted by the Roman invaders, who helped to propagate it throughout the rest of the world (and at that time, the Roman Empire was the world). The word "Halloween" itself actually comes from a contraction of All Hallows Eve, or All Saint's Day (November 1), which is a Catholic day of observance in honour of saints.

It's a time which is thought to be when the division between the living and the dead
was at its thinnest. Samhain was considered to be a gateway not only from the land of the dead to the land of the living, but also between Summer and Fall/Winter. For the Druids, this was the last gasp of summer (it was also the Celtic New Year), so therefore they made sure it went out with a bang before they had to button down for the winter ahead.

Ritual of Samhain

This ritual comes from the neo celtic tradition, Inis Glas Thoir and was written by John Gibson

The altar table is set at the head of the dining table, with the altar cloth, the
Cauldron of Hospitality When all are assembled, the Cauldron is lit.

Three cauldrons that are in every fort: the cauldron of motion, the cauldron of warmth, the cauldron of guests.
Tonight we welcome you into our home, and light the cauldron of hospitality, which contains all these three. (lights cauldron) We are come to celebrate the new year and to remember those who have gone into the Otherworlds before us.

Tonight we call upon the spirits of this place, of ( insert location) land all around us to be at peace with us, and to walk lightly among us.

We call upon the spirits of rivers, oceans, mountains, and forests to be at peace with us and to walk lightly among us. We call upon the land spirits to accept our offerings on this, the night of the new year. (Each person pours out milk and breaks bread into the libation bowl. Each person says:) May the land spirits bless us in this new year.

On this night, the ancestors walk abroad. The gates between the worlds are open wide. We call upon our ancestors, those known and unknown, to come among us and celebrate our reunion on this night of Samhain. We call upon our loved ones who have passed into thethe realm of the dead, to come and feast with us tonight. We call upon the Mighty Dead to assemble here and be remembered.

Lord of Mists, Gatekeeper, you who lead the dead from the underworld into the Plain of Delight, be with us this night and guide the Mighty Dead through the gates to join us in our rite. (Each person tastes salt.)

Mother of Gods, Mother of Rivers, you who embrace the dead as they leave our world for the next, be with us this night and support the Mighty Dead as they join with us in our rite. (Each person tastes grain.)

Lord of Death, you who rule the dead in the other realm, be with us this night and guard the Mighty Dead as they join us in our rite. (Each person tastes honey.)

Each person, silently or aloud, requests the presence of their personal deity to join us for the night.

The altar is set, with each person placing photos or momentos of ancestors and their
beloved dead, and lighting votive candles. A white, birch-scented pillar candle is set
along with incense. The Three Realms are acknowledged.

Each person tells a story of one of their beloved dead.

Dinner is prepared, and the main table is set. Each person assists with dinner, and has brought something to contribute for the feast. Places on the altar are set for the ancestors and the deities. When dinner is served, before any food is consumed the ancestors and the Gods are given their share. The dead are toasted, beginning with those whose names we do not know. Personal toasts are made around the table by each individual. Toasts are ended with the nameless again remembered. Dinner is a party, with music and conversation.

After the feast, the table is cleared and the tools of divination are brought out, and those who wish to do so can give or receive readings for the coming year. When the divinations are done, the Samhain blessing is given.

Gives an ad-lib blessing

We thank the land spirits, the spirits of this place, and all the spirits of plants, animals and earth for coming among us in peace and blessing our rite. Walk in peace into the new year.

We thank the ancestors and the spirits of our beloved dead for coming among us in peace and blessing our rite. We remember you in love, for we will one day dwell among you again. We wait for your return to the land of mortals. Walk in peace into the new year.

Lord of Mists, Gatekeeper, you who lead the dead from realm to realm, we thank you for your presence this night. May you guide the Mighty Dead through the gates to the realm of the dead

Mother of Gods, Mother of Rivers, you who embrace the dead as they leave our world for the other realm, we thank you for your presence this night. May you support the Mighty Dead as they return to the realm of the dead

Tree of Life, Lord of Death, you who rule the dead we thank you for your presence this night. May you receive the Mighty Dead into your realm. May you give them rest and strength to come to rebirth.

The votives on the altar are put out and given to each person to take home and burn for their ancestors and beloved dead. Each person takes their ancestor photos or items from the altar. . The offerings for ancestors, land spirits and
deities are buried outside.

What draws you to psychically gifted individuals?
I am drawn to psychically gifted people because I feel safe with them in being able to sometimes say way-out strange things and know they understand what i'm saying

What is your favorite color?
My favorite colors are purple and blue

Do you have any psychic gifts yourself?
have no reading gifts but I believe I have been an empath since the age of 15 years old.

What type of music do you like ?
I love rock and roll music.

Why did you become an HAR Host?
I became a HAH host because I loved joining the chat room it made me feel happy, (hence my HAH name: Happiness) especially before going to bed -- even being in the room for 5 mins put me in a peacfull frame of mind.

Do you have any general life advise for our readers?
The only general advise I can give to anybody is what I try to live-up-to each day and that is to treat other people the way that I would like them to treat me.
